318 Isaac Ritson, age 23. He was a 1st Class Waiter on the Lusitania and was the son of Isaac, a butcher born in mid-1853 at Tallentire (Bridekirk), Cumberland, and Jane (nee Barnes; she had been born about 1855 at Cockermouth, Cumberland) Ritson, of 73, Beaumont Street, Liverpool. His parents had married toward the end of 1884 at Cockermouth, England. He had been born at Bridekirk, Cumberland and his birth was registered in the third quarter of 1893 in the Cockermouth district of Cumberland. In 1901, he was 9 years old and stated to have been a native of Tallentire. He lived at Macaulay Street in West Derby, Lancashire, with his family. His siblings, at the time, were Mary Elizabeth, 14, Jane, 12, Isabella, 8, William Pearson, 6, and Thomas Donald, 3.
