314 James Reid, age 21. He was a seaman on the Lusitania and was the son of James, a mariner (?) and Mary Ellen Reid, of 14, Harlow Street, Liverpool. (James Patrick Reid?) He was born 28 March 1894 and was christened 20 June 1894 at Saint Ambrose’s Church in Everton in the Church of England. His parents may well have been the James Reid and Mary Ellen Graham who had married in the third quarter of 1892 in West Derby. There is a chance he was the James Reid, aged 7, who in 1901 lived at Hankin Street in Liverpool with his parents James, a mariner born about 1873 at Liverpool, and Mary Reid (she had been born about 1874 at Liverpool) and brothers William, 7 (a twin?), and John, 5.
