Edwards, Joseph

098 Joseph Edwards, age 37. He was a 3rd Class Waiter on the ship and was the son of Thomas, a drayman born at Swinehead, Lincolnshire, about 1846, and Emma Edwards, who had been born about 1845 at Helpingham, Lincolnshire. Joseph had been born at Sheffield around 1878. In 1901, he was listed as a tailor’s assistant living at Fairfield Road at Brightside Bierlow, Sheffield, with his family. Both parents were natives of Lincolnshire and may have married, as Thomas Edwards and Emma Pacey, in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, in 1873. He was the husband of Annie Edwards (nee Tilsley), of 40, Strathcona Road, Wallasey, Cheshire. Joseph Edwards married Annie Tilsley at Sheffield in 1903.
