John Battista Ottino. Larder Cook. He was born 10 June 1883 in Italy. In 1901, he lived at Holyoak Road in Lambeth, London, with his brother Peter, 20, and sister-in-law Alice, 20. John was a soup cook at the time. In 1905, he married Helen Pizzey in Lambeth, London. In 1911, he was 27 years of age and lived at Mortlake, Surrey, England. He was listed as a roast cook. He was married and it was stated he was was born in Italy. He was later listed ”Larder Cook” and ”Extra Extra Chef.” He died in Bromley, Kent, on 6 June 1966.
