Knill, George

George Knill. Sculleryman. He was born 18 January 1899 at Bootle, Lancashire, to Charles George, an insurance agent, born in late 1867 at Teignmouth, Newton Abbot, Devonshire,  and Elizabeth (nee Mosely; born about 1870 at Bigglesworth, Befordshire) Knill, who had married in 1890 in West Derby. He had nine living brothers and sisters in 1911. The family lived at 61 Gloucester Road, Bootle. He married Elizabeth Blythyn in 1928 in Liverpool. He later attained the rank of 2nd Cook. He died at an early age on 21 February 1931.
