Grenier, Oscar

Oscar Grenier/Greiner. He was the Roast Cook on the Lusitania. He was born in France, probably around 1893. An Oscar Greiner had been christened 24 April 1893 in France in the Protestant tradition – his mother was Henriette Greiner and there is a chance he in fact was the Lusitania crew member. An Oscar Greiner married Annie D. Fane in early 1917 at St. Martin, London. He may have been the Oscar Greiner who died in the Cleethorpes district of Lincolnshire in early 1969, aged 75.
