James Francom. He was the Extra 2nd Baker on the Lusitania. He had been born 16 May 1896 in Liverpool to James, a book binder born 1867/1868 at Liverpool (12 February 1868?), and Emma (nee Beach; she had been born about 1871 at Liverpool) Francom, who had married in the second quarter of 1890. He had seven brothers and sisters. In 1901, the Francom family lived at Lombard Street in West Derby, Lancashire. He married Annie Brierley in late 1919 in West Derby, Lancashire, and they had a son. James became a confectioner and later an engineer. He died in Bebington, Cheshire, on 2 March 1963, aged 66.
