Beckett, Henry

Henry Beckett. Passenger Cook. He had been born 27 July 1876 at Liverpool to James, born in late 1848 at Great Yarmouth, and Amelia Beckett, who had been born in mid-1848 at Liverpool. His parents were the James Henry, a mariner from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and Amelia Emma Sydebotham, a milliner born in Liverpool, who had married 5 May 1872 in Liverpool. In 1881, the Becketts lived at Candia Street in Kirkdale, Lancashire. Henry was 4 years old and he had a brother, Charles, 7. He married Margaret Reid 31 August 1898 in Walton-on-the-Hill and died in late 1940 in Liverpool, aged 64.
