Sullivan, Mrs. Julia

Mrs. Julia Sullivan, nee O’Neill: She was the wife of Florence Sullivan. She had been born in Rosscarbery, County Cork. Her parents were Daniel and Joanna O’Neill. The couple met in New York, where Julia worked for eight years with a childless wealthy Long Island family, the Branders, who also found Florence a job at the fashionable Stuyvesant Club in the city. Sadly, the Branders died within three months of each other and left everything to Julia. She and Florence married in August 1914 and were planning to come back to Cloneigh after his father died. They both survived the sinking. Their point of origin was Boston, Massachusetts.
